This session presents our experience with tuning the JBoss Application Server to run the SPECjAppServer2004 benchmark on a Linux server using both open (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and proprietary (Oracle) databases. We used our knowledge of high-performance, highly scalable systems to push the JBoss Application Server to its limits. I will describe how those performance gains were accomplished, highlight various significant improvements, and provide information about the performance gains that were attained. You will be able to use the information presented in to tune your own applications deployed to the JBoss Application Server.
